Cathedral Place
During my second semester here in Brisbane I live with Benedicte at Cathedral Place Apartments.
We have a big outdoor area with two pools, three BBQs, a gym, a BIG hottub and a beach(!) in between the buildings,
shielded from the noise and dust of the traffic outside. Our apartment is on the 6th floor with a
great view of the poolarea and the beach. Everything is located just two blocks from the Fortitude Valley center where
you can find heaps of clubs, pubs and resturants. Also it's just a 25 minute walk to Gardens Point Campus and Brisbane CBD.
The Rent? For an unfurnished 2-bedroom/2-bathroom apartment we pay $315 per week,
of which my part is $160 (3300NOK a month)

Rainforest Excursion
Right after we arrived in Brisbane 3 danish girls invited us on a guided trip
to the rainforests out on the Gold Coast. It was an amazing walk between tropical and temperate rainforests from a
paradise-looking pond to amazing views from the hillsides. Enjoy :)

The 2003 International Ball
Once in a while one must do something out of the ordinary, like party with style at the
International Ball. Late in August 2003 I went there with
Thomas K, Thomas FT, Simen, Monica, Pierre, Kristin and Irene. We had a great time with good food and lots of entertainment!

A day at the beach!
A weekend in August, me, Thomas K, Thomas FT, Simen and Monica
took the train out to Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast to spend a day playing on the beach. Here is the memories :)

Southbank Campus Apartments
In Brisbane I live together with Thomas & Thomas at Southbank Campus Apartments.
We share a gym and a pool with the other residents in addition to the apartment
which is located a short walk away from Brisbane CBD and Gardens Point campus.
The Rent? For a furnished 3-bedroom/2-bathroom apartment with aircon we pay $415 per week,
of which my part is $130 (2400NOK a month!)

ISFiT Avslutningsball
Etter at ISFiT 2003 var over ble det arrangert studentgalla på
Royal Garden hotell for alle funksjonærene som var med å jobbet.
Med 250 oppmøtte ble det en kjempefest med middag, taler, kunstneriske innslag,
og et skikkelig nachspiel på Samfundet langt ut i de små timer.

ISFiT Skidag
Annethvert år kommer 450 studenter fra over 100 forskjellige nasjoner til Norge for å
delta på den Internasjonale Studentfestivalen i Trondheim.
En av dagene tas alle deltakerne med til Granåsen for å lære å gå på ski,
for svært mange er dette første gang de får oppleve snø og is!

ISFiT Hyttetur
For å komme igang med arbeidet fram mot mot festivalen etter juleferien dro hele
PR/Info seksjonen på tur til Juventehytta i Trondheim ei helg i februar.
Den første dagen stod det sosiale i fokus for å la alle bli bedre kjent med hverandre
innad i seksjonen og for å sikre at det ble en minnerik tur!
Det ble holdt snøballkriger, skulpturbygging, festing, dansing, klespoker og
gitarspilling langt ut i de små timer. Turen var utrolig hyggelig og
vi fikk til og med gjort unna masse planlegging og idemyldring til festivalen!

Nyttårsball med TTS
Trondheim Teknikersamfunn avholdt den 18. januar 2003 sitt årlige nyttårsball.
Denne gangen var festen ekstra påkostet, da stiftelsens 90-års jubileum også skulle feires.
Kvelden utartet seg som en storslagen studentergalla med god mat, musikk og dans på Royal Garden Hotell.

Åretur 2003
En Årlig begivenhet arrangert av Idrettsgruppa ved Trondheim Teknikersamfunn er Åreturen.
250 studenter fra AFT og AITeL ved Høgskolen i Sør-Trøndelag drar på tur til sveriges største vintersportssted, Åre,
for tilbringe fire dager med alpinsport, drikking og masse morro!
